Mediasophia attendance at the American Association for Justice winter convention in Miami was a huge success. We are pleased to have extended Legalsophia’s network of relationships and strategic partnerships with other companies in the legal industry. A highlight of the convention took place outside the formal lectures and showcase forum while relaxing between meetings in the Fontainebleau Hotel Lounge. Mediasophia President George Magalios enjoyed meeting with athletes including Baltimore Ravens offensive lineman Michael Oher, the subject of the movie “The Blind Side”. Mr Magalios, being a huge fan of both football and baseball, was happy for the opportunity to engage in sports conversation that, of course, included the recent Super Bowl XLVII victory.

Mediaophia held a popular social media site accountable for hosting another false impersonation account today. As a result the account was deleted from the internet. Social media sites can be a wonderful opportunity for self promotion and networking, however there is a downside to this free speech forum. Many individuals and companies are falsely accused with slander and propaganda.

Mediasophia president George Magalios was the head chef of a Thanksgiving dinner donation for over 70 people at AHEPA 18 apartments in West Palm Beach. AHEPA 18 apartments is a residence for seniors with low incomes. Each holiday, AHEPA 18, the Palm Beach chapter of the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association, donates a dinner for the building’s residents. This year’s dinner included local AHEPANS, Daughters of Penelope, and grateful residents who were excited to share a feast with their neighbors. You can read more about the event here.

Mediasophia employees recently volunteered for a full day at various local non-profit organizations in New York and South Florida.
